Makeup Revolution Easter Egg

Happy Good Friday Guys!

I can’t believe that its already Easter! Feels like Christmas was only last week.

This year I saw all the makeup/beauty eggs and I had to try one so I decided to try the Makeup Revolution one because its adorable! Two highlights and five eyeshadows in a mirror egg. I chose the red one because the shadows looked stunning the the highlights looked like they should work for my pale skin.

I primed my eyes with my Makeup Revolution concealer and set it with a white shadow. I then start a crease off with some bone colour on a fluffy brush and then added in a peach colour. I next added a light brown to my crease and on my lower lashline. Then I moved into the egg shades, I used a small crease brush and put the red into my crease and my outer corner and used the peach colour to blend it out and get rid of any harsh lines. Lastly I used the dark purple colour on a small wide fluffy brush and put this on my outer corner to deepen it and smoke it out a little bit. I then used a pencil brush to put the colour along my lower lashline and blended it out. All this blending had dulled the red so I used it again on the small brush and made the colour pop more. I wanted to add a shimmer to the whole lid so I put the copper colour all other, I used my finger to get full shimmer opacity.

I mixed both highlight colours, mostly the lighter one and applied this to my cheek bones with a tapered highlight brush. I used a small brush to apply this to my inner corner and brow bone.

I really enjoyed this Egg and although it is a novelty palette the quality and pigment is really good, exactly what I have come to expect from Makeup Revolution.

I hope you all have lovely Easters.

See you all next friday at 5pm BST!
